1. I do not know what it is that Dr. Juan Cole, whom I’ve praised in the past and no doubt will do so again in the future, is smoking, but Juan please tell us what it is and how we can get some? Maybe it’s some new Israeli drug called Obamasy, cause when Obama mouths Zionist bullshit, Juan gets higher than Larry Sinclair in the back seat of a limo.
Obama’s speech about the Middle East given last Thursday was delayed a bit because it had to be translated from the Hebrew and all the State Department Hebrew interpreters were already working in Congressional offices. Fortunately, once it was translated the Jerusalem Washington New York Times Post (JEWNYTP) ran the speech through Mantiq al-Tayr’s Tafsiranator and noted that the pablum about the 1967 borders Obama uttered was just a bunch of bullshit designed to fool the Arabs and especially dumb-ass Americans. It worked on the Americans as Dr. Cole himself proves, but the Arabs have the Israelis figured out and shot the speech in the chest and the head and dumped it into the ocean.
Here ‘s JEWNYTP reassuring Israeli-firsters that the President was just joking. They ran the speech through the Tafsiranator but attributed the results to unnamed “officials” in the Netanyahu administration.
Oh, wait, I need to digress for a second. A few days ago a very thoughtful reader named Kate made a comment on my previous post in which she suggested that it might be a good idea if the posts on this blog contained little or no profanity noting this might attract more readers. We thought about it for quite some time and all the Tuyuur here at Mantiq al-Tayr gave their opinions. We came to a historic compromise and decided that for today’s post we would only use the F-word or its derivatives four times. That’s right we are only going to use fuck four fucking times. And that’s two already. The other two will really need to be well-placed. But, as I said, I digress. Now back to JEWNYTP and its use of the Tafsiranator. (Red highlights are mine, as usual.)

3. The Conference of Traitors lists on its website the topics that Israel is obsessed with. Interestingly, those evil vile Palestinians in the Gaza Strip (whom Steny bad-mouths in the video above) are one of the obsessions. There are at least two “break out” sessions devoted to dealing with the Gaza menace. You’d think the Gazan’s had the fourth largest military in the world, had nukes, and owned everyone in the US House (oops meant to say “Whore” before House but you know what I mean) and Senate.
At the first break out session a bunch of Zionist fanatics like Jonathan Schanzer will discuss the threat that poverty-stricken defenseless Gazans pose to the Chosen People. Sorry, hold on. Who is Schanzer you ask? Well he just happens to a big shot at the neo-con think tank called the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. You know the place that has James Woolsey and Newt Gingrich on its Leadership Council. Oh and Eric Cantor and Richard Perle are on its Board of Advisors (along with lots of other usual suspects). And the ridiculous Walid Phares is one of its fellows/researchers as is Michael Ledeen who also just happens to be one of the founders of JINSA. Anyway, Schanzer along with an AIPAC official and Ha-Aretz reporter Amos Harel (its sad when Harel appears to be the most moderate one on the panel) will discuss:

I am often asked that question since I adhere to boycott of all things Israeli. The answer is yes provided 1) the person refuses to serve in the Army or the intelligence service of the state as part of military service; 2) the person must leave the house he/she occupies and the land on which he/she stands on because chances are the house is occupied, in the literal sense, and the land is occupied, in the literal sense; 3) the person must engage in armed struggle against the terrorist state of Israel. If an Israeli person fulfills those conditions, he/she should be acceptable from a pro-Palestinian point of view. So by my definition, Daniel Barenboim has not met any of those conditions.
PS Playing a musical instrument before a Palestinian audience does not qualify–not even if the instrument is Dirbakka.

2. Now that the important stuff is taken care of, I just wanted to ask my readers if you’ve heard that Nobel Peace Prize Winner and Israeli Vice President for American Affairs Barack Hussein Obama killed Bin Laden? I try not to follow the news, so I’ve been sticking to sports lately. But surprise surprise, ESPN interrupted its usual stupid programming to play excerpts of people singing the national anthem at various sporting events with the crowds cheering like they’d just won the lottery and the announcer came on to explain that this was because BHO had knocked off Bin Laden and then made fun of some athlete who seems to have complained about people celebrating the killing.
Anyway, lots of people have asked me to comment on this and basically much of what I have to say has already been said. However, part of my take on this is a bit different than most people’s, but I want to point to a few things that others have said that I think are particularly relevant.
First of all, in one of his own statements, and I’m not going to waste my time looking it up and linking to it, Bin Laden said something to the effect of “It is not about Usamah.” And on this issue he was right. It is not about Usamah, it is about us. That’s the theme for what I’m quoting below.
Xymphora made a an observation that is so right on about one aspect of this that I will quote it here. It’s just one sentence and it is so right on. Did I mention that it is right on?
“Americans of all political stripes are shouting ‘USA, USA’ and behaving in the embarrassing style to which the rest of the world has become accustomed.”
We don’t even realize that the world laughs at us when it isn’t cursing us either openly or under its breath.
Now the Angry Arab has made a number of worthwhile comments on the matter. If you don’t visit his site you really should. I’m going to link to a few of his posts that I largely agree with on the matter below. I don’t agree with everything he says, but that’s what our country is all about. And remember, “they” (the Democrats and Republicans) hate our freedoms.
On this short one I am taking the USS Liberty of quoting in full:

Now I’m going to move on to something Juan Cole wrote. Dr. Cole has said some things recently and over the years that have made me cringe and throw up my hands. He has also said many things that have made me hope and pray that regular Americans are reading his blog. As I have said before, Dr. Cole represents about as far outside al-Sirat al-Mainstream as you are allowed to go in acadumia before they fire you. (If you disagree, call in to Dr. Kevin Barrett’s Truth Jihad Radio and ask him. Not that he and I have discussed this. I just think it would be really cool if you called into Dr. Barret’s show and asked him, but I digress.)
Anyway, Dr. Cole said the following about the latest Bin Laden episode and on this point I believe that he is on the mark irrespective of whether or not you believe the press releases coming out of WashtingTelAvivton.
“Bin Laden’s passing is, then, an anti-climax. A nothing. Terrorism is just garbage, and produces nothing but garbage. It has mostly been taken out, with nothing but the stench hanging in the air. Most Muslims have moved on. So should Americans.”

1. Americans are the stupidest most ignorant dumb asses on the face of the planet. But before I get into that stuff, I want to digress for a second. The short news item below is from today’s edition of the Palestine Chronicle. I believe the original report was from Press TV.
Cross-border gunfire by Israeli soldiers has killed two Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip, Palestinian medical workers say.
The medical workers said they had been asked by Israeli authorities to retrieve two bodies from a border zone, Reuters reported on Sunday.
The victims had both been shot, the medics added.
The Israeli army on Sunday also demolished 20 houses in the northern West Bank after forcing some 40 families to evacuate their homes, Palestinian witnesses said.
The houses were in the farming village of Tana near Nablus in the so-called Area C, a closed military zone where Israel exercises full control, AFP reported.
This shit goes on every day in Palestine. Palestine is nothing but a shooting range for Israeli sociopaths and stupid dumb-ass American morons completely support this.
Now back to how stupid Americans are. 2. One of Israel’s favorite pass times, when it isn’t actually murdering Palestinians – that being Israel’s national sport – is the destruction of Palestinian olive trees. Anyone who has walked through a Palestinian olive grove knows the importance of these trees.

So while these brave Palestinians do their utmost to maintain what little they have left, stupid fucking American assholes who can’t even think of the name of a country that begins with the letter U support Israel.
