NPR, O’Keefe and the Mooselims

1. One of our mottos here at Mantiq al-Tayr is “So many traitors, so little time” and so it has been difficult to be away from posting for the past couple of weeks. Thanks to those of you who inquired if I was okay –  I am. But sometimes what’s going on is just so depressing that it just seems like doing this is not worth it.  In order to make doing today’s post more fun for me, I’m going to do a few things differently.  Now I can hear you screaming in horror “Mantiq, you aren’t going to stop posting cool music videos with not so subtle  messages about what traitors our three branches of government are filled with are you? And you’re still going to post videos about stupid cats, right? Uh, and oh, an occasional Haife Wehbe video will still be possible, please, please.”

Don’t worry goys and girls, those things won’t be going away.

But today I thought I’d just post about totally random stuff I came across while researching stuff for future posts . Just random stuff not connected to anything.

2. Before I get started, I wanted to tell you about a dream I had. I dreamt that Michael Collins Piper and Willis Carto put on yarmulkes and set up a meeting with the folks over at National Public Radio. They sat down with one of their fundraisers who seemed to be Jewish, I think his last name was something like Stadtmiller,  and said they would like to give a large donation to NPR but that they needed to remain anonymous because their organization, Jews In Solidarity With Jonathan Pollard  (JISWJP), was really a front group for the Gush Emunim and the Jewish Defense League.  They got in good with this guy laughing and joking about what morons most Americans are and how easy it is to fool them and to get them to believe bullshit like the greatest threat to the United States is from Muslims in the USA who have taken over the major banks and all of the Seven Elevens.  Anyway, they wanted to give what they called National Pharisee Radio (they all laughed when Piper said this) lots of money but they needed it hidden from the IRS because the JDL is considered to be a terrorist organization by the Arab-owned media. The NPR guy said he’d look into it, but that it looked perfectly kosher to him since anonymous people donate to NPR all the time.  Suddenly I woke up to my alarm clock playing the theme music for All Things Considered.

3. Senator John McCain (Likud, Arizona) has bravely come out calling for the release of convicted spy and Wolf Blitzer favorite Jonathan Pollard.  McCain did so in a telephone conversation with his boss, Benjamin Netanyahu.

“The Free Pollard campaign said McCain’s about-face regarding Pollard is more proof that Netanyahu was right in publicly calling for Pollard’s freedom. Activists said, “We hope to strengthen the Prime Minister, so he will be a faithful representative of the people of Israel and seekers of justice worldwide, and will continue to do whatever he can until Pollard is set free.”

Who could argue with that? Certainly not Henry Kissinger who also supports Pollard’s release.  And Kissinger is a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, something that gives him great credibility.  More importantly, the guy who is going to beat Obama’s ass in the next election for the office of Israeli Vice President for American Affairs (IVPAA) , Mike Huckabee, strongly supports Pollard’s release:

“He has served an extraordinary length of time… it would seem now to be a matter of goodwill and a good faith gesture…for the president to release him. [Freeing Pollard] would send the right message to the rest of the world that America is not pulling back on its friendship and relationship with Israel but it is accelerating it and making sure that we are taking every step possible to solidify those bonds.”

After all, as the future IVPAA, Huckabee knows “Right now we don’t need anything that reflects that we are anything but an absolute ally of Israel.”

You can sign the petition yourself. The guy who wrote the petition, Aryeh Eldad,  is the son of an Israeli terrorist, so no doubt this petition probably reflects exactly what people like Eric Cantor and the National Jewish Democratic Council actually think.

Daddy Eldad, born Israel Schrieb, was a leader of the Stern Gang and one of the troika of its leaders that approved the murder of Count Folke  Bernadotte.

Aryeh Eldad lives in an illegal Israeli settlement on the West Bank called Kfar Adunim. He’s belongs to the most right wing political grouping in Israel, the National Union, which is fitting since his father gave the approval for the Lehi terrorists (the Stern gang) to murder Swiss diplomat Count Folke Bernadotte.   Yup, this son of a murderer is in the Israeli Knesset. Man, I bet Pantano must be thinking who it is that he has to kill to get elected to the American Knesset, but I digress.  Anyway, Aryeh, the great humanitarian that he is, proposed back in 2008 that all the Arabs of the town of al-Khalil, known to most of y’all goys and girls as Hebron, that all the Arab residents of that town be removed in order to protect the small group of Jewish crazies who occupy a portion of the town.  Sounds like the kind of a guy an American politician can support.  At least he is consistent, Jordan is Palestine and the Arabs of al-Khalil, who are well of 150 thousand in number, need to leave their homes to satisfy a few hundred crazy Jews, probably half of whom are from New York.

He did not enjoy having an Arab make an ass out of him in the Knesset back in 2008 either. Tough shit.

Raleb Majdele, the first Arab to be minister in the democratic state of Israel, really pissed off Aryeh in 2008 when he said:

“I will say my opinion. Before I am a government minister I am first and foremost a person and a citizen and a Muslim. With all due respect for the law, the law was meant to respect the religion, the person and the citizen and protect him, and not the other way around, enslave him,” he explained. “Therefore I say clearly: Al-Aksa, Al-Haram al-Sharif [as the Temple Mount is called by Muslims – ed.], cannot be under the authority of Israeli law.”

I love it. Also, on his wiki page is this cool quote, and yes I know I am digressing. But I digress.

“I fail to understand how an enlightened, sane Jew allows himself to ask a Muslim person with a different language and culture, to sing an anthem that was written for Jews only,” in reference to Hatikvah, the Israeli national anthem.

Needless to say, the loonies over at Jihad Watch hate Majadele, love Aryeh, and love even more Aryeh’s terrorist murderer father and all in one fell swoop.

Some of you might remember Aryeh’s call for the assassination of Ahmedinejad last fall.

Since he is a far right fanatical nutjob, racist, and professional hater, he’d fit right in with the US Senate and House, especially with the extremely dangerous fanatical Zionist slave republicans you goys and girls so stupidly elected this past year. What the fuck were you thinking? But I digress.

So of course it is no surprise to find that Eldad really really liked (now) convicted criminal Tom Delay, whose dealings with Jack Abramoff also involved Israel. (I am sure you are shocked.) Anyway, Delay went to Israel and you will love this quote from Wiki:

“On a 2003 trip to Israel, DeLay toured the nation and addressed members of the Knesset. His opposition to land concessions is so strong that Aryeh Eldad, the deputy of Israel’s conservative National Union party, remarked, “As I shook his hand, I told Tom DeLay that until I heard him speak, I thought I was farthest to the right in the Knesset.”^[80] Former Mossad chief Danny Yatom said “The Likud is nothing compared to this guy.”^[81]”

I think Peter King (asshole, New York), should call in Aryeh as a witness for King’s personal witch hunt against Muslims. The two have a lot in common.

There is one good thing about Aryeh though, he does NOT support calling for the release of Jonathan Pollard. Here’s why according to Pollard’s own website which is run by his second wife.

“For example, one reliable source reported to us not long ago that Eldad had ‘explained’ to him that nothing can be done to help Jonathan Pollard because it would blow the cover of another spy which Israel is currently running in Washington! Our source, a senior IDF officer (ret.) was infuriated by this fabrication. He blasted Eldad, declaring that he was restraining himself with difficulty, because Eldad richly deserved to be slapped across the face for telling such bald-faced lies to undermine support for an Israeli agent in captivity!”

Who says he’s lying? Sounds pretty credible to me. If there’s one, there’s got to be more. Oh, wait, there are more. Google it.

5. Speaking of criminals and assholes such as Delay and King, let’s talk about another couple of criminals and assholes, James O’keefe and Stan Dai. I am sure all of you remember that O’keefe is on probation for three years for screwing around with the telephones of Sen. Mary Landrieu in her New Orleans office. He, Dai and the other two blowhards involved in this thing also pled guilty and received 2 years probation.  But I guess when you are on probation, you can still be an anti-Muslim bigot. I mean, what would life be like if could not make fun of Muslims?

So O’keefe creates a fake Muslim website in the name of a fake organization. He puts just enough dumb shit on it to attract the attention of idiots like the people here who thought it was real and used it as the excuse du jour to do some good old Muslim bashing.  The fake site is still up, so now doubt more and more idiots and future Shas Party members will find it and blog about how Islam is a threat and wants to kill your grandmother and her cat.

And then O’keefe uses the site to go after a bunch of clueless morons at NPR.  My take on the rather hilarious NPR snafu is a bit different than most folks – which is of course why people read Mantiq al-Tayr.  Before I go into that take however, I want to make one thing perfectly clear:

Fuck NPR. They are an over-rated Zionist-filled bullshitting outfit that isn’t even remotely as good as the CBC – another over-rated Zionist-filled bullshitting outfit. They can take Linda Gradstein and Cookie Roberts and stick them on the Mavi Marmara dressed as Fedayeen for all I care. Hmmm, that might be a good idea, but I digress.

In fact, I’ll digress some more:

So why believe anything this person has to say? Not to mention this shit, here, here, and here.

And then there is Linda Gradstein who is married to an Israeli sniper and takes lots of money from pro- Israeli organizations.  So screw NPR.

Anyway, back to my take on this.

Ultimately it is all a charade. What we have going on in the US, or what’s left of the US, is that the far right is nothing but a bunch of rich Zionist Jews and Christians who are destroying our country in the service of their own greed and in the service of Israel and the so-called left is a bunch of rich Jews and Christians most of whom are also slavishly devoted to Israel.  The two sides screw around with each other and we call this democracy.

So, Ronald Schiller, an NPR fund raising guy allows himself to get caught out agreeing to some things that most of us would say are correct. The Tea Party really is a bunch of morons and racists, the Republicans are nuts, and guess who really does own the media? It ain’t the Muslim Brotherhood.  But why would he meet with a “front” for the MB and talk about taking tons of money from it? Well, it may just be that Schiller, whose last name is not Irish, might not have been fairly portrayed.  This investigation questions the context in which he said some of the things he said.  But I think what got  him fired was not making fun of the Tea Party or the Republicans, but most likely the comment he made about ownership of the media.  BTW, he by and large did not react much when his lunch guests tried to get him to say bad stuff about Jews and Jewish ownership of the media. He pretty much played that down, but even a little acknowledgement of the truth is too much for the ADL.  So he’s gone.

But more importantly, NPR, if it survives this mess, and it will, unfortunately, will not change much even after losing two Schillers and a Weiss (that one goes back to the Juan Williams debacle). Oh, yes, NPR lost two Schillers. The head of NPR, Vivian Schiller, a Jew and the third Jew in a row to be the head of NPR had to resign as well.  But no doubt more of the same will replace them irrespective of ethnicity.

In fact, in this very good piece on the incident, Phil Weiss notes:

“My interpretation is this: NPR really does represent the blue state elite, that’s its highly-educated base, as Schiller states so frankly. So when Schiller trashes rural people or uneducated people or Christian rightwingers or Tea Party folks as racists, he’s merely representing his base, which shares those attitudes. Similarly, when he refuses to take the bait on Jews, but makes sophisticated observations, like that highly-educated Jews are disenchanted with Israel, he is again representing his base. As for his statement that Jews who own newspapers are supporting Israel, this is almost an objective observation. I bet NPR’s listenership has a high percentage of Jews, just as its reporting staff is strongly-Jewish, and so these are people Schiller knows and respects, unlike the poor shlub in Wyoming; and so he doesn’t sell them out.”

So it’s the right wing elites pissing on the left wing elites and everyone continues to watch basketball or whatever.

And no one cares that the real victims of this are the Muslims who have been used in this setup at a time when witch hunts are going on and the entire country is turning insane.  The Muslims are the victims.

And you need no further of proof of this than the fact that the ADL has demanded an apology from Ron Schiller for saying that the Jews own the media. Not a word about using the Muslims as their tool.

BENGHAZI, Libya — An Al-Jazeera cameraman was killed in an ambush near the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi on Saturday, the first journalist slain in the nearly month-long conflict, the satellite station said.

Ali Hassan al-Jaber, a Qatari national, was killed and a correspondent was wounded and hospitalized in what the station described as an ambush on the crew as it returned from an assignment south of the rebel stronghold, which is deep inside opposition-held territory.
