Nothing good can come from burning a religious book. As shown at whatisknown.com what is required is to shine the light of reason onto religion and to weigh the truth against what is written, while considering our modern knowledge. It is nothing less than absurd for a man who preaches from a book containing hundreds of contradictions to attempt to condemn another book. I will never forget in 1989 when the Supreme leader of Iran, Imam Khomeini issued a “fatwa” calling for death of Salman Rushdie after the publication of the “Satanic Verses.” I do recall when the world came to halt.
By contrast, two patriotic American authers who wrote the recent book on the USS Liberty have their lives threatened by a “mossad” agent on an American soil. Federal agents response was bizzare , and not one single main steam newspaper picked up the story. No statement from any public officials, no commentary or an editorial expressing outrage or concern. Regualar programming were not interupted by updates about the nature of the threat made against a war hero.
Make you kind of wonder if the goverment is on it by acting as silent participant. That what grinds my teeth. It is simply beyond me!

I have sat here for the past 30 mins reading what can only be described as pure hatred toward people religions only fuelled by someone who wants to burn books, what benefit is burning books going to do for anyone whether Christian, Jewish, or Muslim.
Dr Terry Jones comments that he’s willing to burn the Talmud as well as the Koran and this guy leads a flock of people, I wouldn’t listen to anything this guy says infact such an expressive nature makes me wonder what this guy is really like behind closed doors.

And as far as the comments from the rest of you who breed hatred by your willingness to express what you haven’t got a clue about.
Let me ask you the same question all you who stand on the moral high ground, what are you like when no one is around? are there flaws in your characters? are there things about you that you don’t let anyone see?

James I can only answer for myself. Those that do know me personally can and will back me up. I take great pride in knowing that I am a man that has a few hatreds, listing them will go like this: 1) injustice 2) liars, 3) thieves, 4) frauds.
Notice I did NOT place a ‘murderer’ or ‘rapist’ up there in the top three? Imagine that stat, you can now say I am pro-killer and pro-rape. No they are just further down the list and a lot of killing can be justified or rapes could simply be set ups. I do not autoclass those last two, get it.
So the topic is the burning a religious book, which according to legend is Mohammeds correction of the Jewish scripts. Am I wrong yet? No.
Where was the first collections of those scripts created? Around Baghdad Iraq. Think of the Tigress and Euphrates rivers, Babylon, etc.

Those that are deeply indepted to those words become a little sensitive over this act. (rumor has it fake muslims threatened the south park writters, you know another FF thing) YET if the roles were to become reversed, and twisted due to the nonlinear nature of the warring faiths, what if any other religious book were burned? How would the Christians react to the burning of their Bible(s), how about the Jewish and their Torah, or Talmud, Kabbalah, Zohar, how would THEY react to the public burning of those? Heck with burning a book, how did they react to a few honest, and not even offensive words of professional journalists?
Would it show the outrage of the flock, or would it present an example of dire hypocracies in the on going KILLINGS of others for no other reasoning but from the mouths of those that have been absolutely proven, that htey lied to justify the war(s). Why the outrage over a printed book that can be recopied over and over again, yet the lives are dwindling for the fighting over these lies written in these books. Zeitgeist it into your brains, I WILL EXPOSE YOUR INSANITY, no matter how blasphemous you label it, it is no such thing in the light of your support over the KILLING of one baby child or other life form, over those same printed flammible lies. Barring cannibalism, if you eat it I can’t complain.

The writings of the talmud should be all over the internet. The zionists would not be able to stop it. They would have to threaten Obummer to have it done. He would of course, comply knowing what would happen if he did not.

Wow, such hatred from people who spend so little time actually reading but so much giving ignorant opinions. The Talmud is on the web. There are over 60 volumes of it. As I recall, the gospels have some nasty things to say about Jews and the Koran has some nasty things to say about everyone who is not Muslim. It is easy to pick out phrases from any of these texts and use them to weave together some kind of fantasy. Instead of regurgitating random stuff you’ve read on other websites, why don’t you spend some time reading the Bible, Koran and Talmud (all of it) and then educate us about what it means? I’m sure that will be much more interesting than hearing you opine about books you haven’t actually read.

So Jones did burn a koran recently and what happened. I say burn some more then round up those that think they are doing the work of their god, their all powerful god that can fight its own battles.
